Mark Morilla, Senior Portfolio Underwriter at Unica Insurance, is the proud recipient of the Insurance Business Canada 5-star Underwriter Award for a second consecutive year. This award recognizes excellence in underwriting as nominated by Brokers across Canada and serves as a testament to Mark’s hard work and dedication to providing superior service.
A graduate of Mohawk College’s insurance program in 2001, Mark has gained extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of underwriting over his career. His skill set and passion for delivering solutions throughout his career have led him to a leadership role with Unica, where he now leads a team of commercial insurance experts to build strong relationships with our Broker Partners and help them find the best coverage for their clients.

Mark has more than just experience under his belt—he holds both the Chartered Insurance Professional and Canadian Risk Management designations.
