Toronto, May 14, 2024 — The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is pleased to announce that Unica Insurance Inc. has reaffirmed its commitment to the Broker Identity Program (BIP) at the Full Partner Level.
Unica’s ongoing support will increase awareness around IBAC’s BIP, an advertising campaign intended to educate individuals on the value of insurance brokers, namely choice, advice and advocacy.
In addition, Unica’s contribution will also strengthen several key IBAC initiatives, including leading advancements in technology, professional development of the broker workforce, and advocating at the federal level to maintain the separation of banking and insurance, which protects consumers and promotes a fair and competitive marketplace.Jennifer Ronca, Unica’s Senior VP of Operations, is proud of Unica’s continued alliance with IBAC, noting its foundation in mutual values and a shared vision for the insurance sector’s future.“Unica’s enduring partnership with IBAC is something I am incredibly proud of,” Ronca said. “In an ever-changing consumer landscape that offers seemingly countless options for insurance customers, only brokers can provide the expertise, professionalism, and claims advocacy that best serve our policyholders. These characteristics align perfectly with the Unica brand.”
