Through a charitable donation provided by Unica Insurance, the Trillium Health Partners Foundation purchased multiple 3D printers that are already in service creating personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers. This PPE is being distributed to area hospitals as they continue their fight against COVID-19. Every dollar donated by Unica was matched by philanthropic leaders in our community, doubling the amount given to the Foundation.
The colourful masks shown in the image above are the actual gear that has already been produced by the printers we donated. Mentor College in Mississauga has also graciously donated the space in their gym to be used as a production assembly space.
